Going to spend the morning making a base curry sauce and garlic and chilli paste from The Curry Guyโs book. My fingernails are likely to be yellow for a little while. ๐ถ๏ธ๐ฅ
Up at 6am the past two mornings to get the dog walk done and dusted early doors. Horrible going out at that time, but great to get my exercise completed before the day starts. ๐๐๐ป๐
The excitement is building as Burnleyโs return to the Premier League begins with the visit of Man City tonight. I am positively bubbling over with joy. โฝ๏ธ

Going to take a break from procrastinating today and upgrading to some good old โmoochingโ. ๐
After the avocado unpleasantness yesterday, my label printer is playing up. Why do you mock me, life?! Why?!
We planted multiple fruit trees many years ago and Iโve pretty much left them alone, more through laziness than design. Anyway just had a plum, my first plum, from the tree and it was magnificent. Thereโs not many there, but I hope to keep an eye on their ripeness as wasps have descended on the apples. ๐ฑ
Shane the lurcher had another wobble this morning and hid, shaking, in the garden. Leela the terrier and Shane managed to escape the garden last night through a gap in the hedge, which they know they shouldnโt do. Leela was covered in cow shizz but was unbothered, Shane obviously ruminated. ๐
Underripe avocados are one of the most frustrating things in life. Middle class problems, I know.
Squeaky wheelbarrow, laughing at my attempts at manual labour. ๐ฑ
Decided to bite the bullet and book a ticket for a Burnley game. Most home games are sold out already, but I found a solitary ticket for Luton in January. Every time I book for a Prem game, some catastrophic event happens - so if some new pandemic happens around Christmas time โmy badโ. โฝ๏ธ
One of the all-time classic penalty shootouts. โฝ๏ธ
And now itโs raining. ๐
Unlike the rest of Ireland, the next few days are promised dry here. I have three tonne bags of bark mulch to tidy up the paths around the raised beds, which are themselves overgrown with weeds. Iโm still annoyed with myself for letting things get so bad, but little I can do about it now.
Will this procrastination never end?๐
Seeing as I was in Roscommon town for an ENT appointment, I ordered in my own weight in Indian food to accompany me home. Stuffed now.
The weather can go cloud itself.
Nailed my passport photo.

Received a delivery of bark mulch and ended up having a 20 minute conversation about UFOs.
Our dishwasher broke and flooded the place a few days after the commencement of the first lockdown. We have just managed to get a new fully functioning dishwasher fitted.
