Shane the lurcher went for his morning poop when we went out for a walk, but got a clanker caught in his bum hair so I used some weeds to de-clank and clean him. That’s the closest I’ve felt to being Bear Grylls in my life.🐕💩
Since around the time of Brexit/Trump things have got progressively muddy. Before that there were clear ‘sides’, ‘that person is definitely on the polar opposite of my own moral compass’. Now, every now and again, people whizz around so often you find yourself agreeing with someone you loathe.

Fallen back in to poor dietary habits this past week, combined with a lack of exercise due to the heat. Back on it from tomorrow.
This heat is going to be around another week or so. While I won’t complain about a hot summer, I would appreciate a little respite for an hour or two.
I’ve ordered a straw fedora. The model in the photo looks wonderful, I’m sure I will too. 🤠
Another Google Home update, still no support for Nest Protect. Oh, and it turned off all notifications for my doorbell as well, which is handy. Trying to find how to turn notifications back on is like a quest in itself. 💻

I don’t want to go all ‘Growing up, I only had four channels to watch…’ but how can one possibly watch and digest everything of interest? I suppose it’s like a reading pile now, something that will never be empty. 📚📺
