I haven’t so much as looked at Mastodon for months. Are MicroBloggers generally keeping things separate, or using one account for both? Must admit, the whole fediverse thing makes my head hurt a little.
I’m off to an Indian restaurant this evening. The only thing I miss about living in England is the excellent choice of Indian food and the ability to get it delivered to my door. I will, definitely, pig out and likely give myself a belly ache later.
Late-ish to try, but the recent update to Ulysses with the ability to add sketches is very nice indeed.
I wish Apple wouldn’t dick about with things for the sake of dicking about.
I ate the whole pizza, with onion rings. I have the self-discipline of a toddler left unsupervised in a sweet shop.
My not-so-old MacBook Pro now starts only when it feels like it. Several goes at switching it on, seeing the error, trying again until it finally starts is starting to irritate me. No issues flagged by First Aid, it’s just an annoyance I’ll have to put up with until I can afford a new one.
Technology doesn’t need my stupidity to help confound. I gave it a good go today in a moment of laziness.
I spoke too soon. If my MacBook was a dog, it would be sent to ‘live on a farm’ in the very near future.
Despite significant improvements with my MacBook since a total reset, it’s still a little laggy.
Might spend tomorrow morning sorting the spaghettified cables in my computer area. My MacBook Pro is truly banjaxed, so I’ll have to save up for a new computer (planning on a Mac Mini).

The older I get, the crankier I get about selfishness and rule-breaking. I am morphing into my hero Victor Meldrew.
Then factor in messages on my watch I just ignore. Things have improved massively since I’ve culled applications and email subscriptions. My Apple Watch no longer annoys me, the few pings I get are messages I actually want to know about.
I’m trying to cut down on the amount of electronic clutter I receive. It’s insane how many emails I subscribe to that I don’t actually read.
My MacBook Pro is well and truly banjaxed. Can I hook up an iPad Mini 6 (which has a USB port for charging) to an external monitor? 💻

My cancelling of apps and seeing how I get on within the Apple ecosystem is nowhere near as traumatic as I thought it would be.

Going to spend the weekend trying to make my Apple Watch less annoying. I exercise every day, be it a walk or (in the past anyway) a run a few times a week. I walked without tracking in the past, but feel I have to track now. That’s how Apple get you, isn’t it? 🖥️
