I’m going to start using my omg.lol page, seeing as I pay for it and everything (not to mention how much I adore the community there). Checking out the ‘Now’ aspect and will try and update that today. I want to work out how to keep all social media ticking along.

Managed to drag myself out of bed at 6am for the dog walk. It’s good to get it out of the way, but I’m not half tired.
Had quite a productive day. Learned that not all quotation marks are the same, cleared out DEVONThink, tidied up Notes and redownloaded Native Instruments plug-ins. 💻😐
That’s DEVONThink emptied, with hundreds of bits of information split between Notes, Safari (Bookmarks & Reading List) and photos in the Apple ecosystem. It’s a great piece of kit, but as I use my iPhone and iPad mostly, I can’t afford to renew DEVONThink To Go. 💻📝😐

As much as I like my small working space, my recent urge to start doodling with music again proves tricky regarding the set up. 🎶🎹
Ugh, the storm has snapped a couple of fence posts around by the veg patch. Spent an obscene amount of time securing the netting with clips at the weekend, now I’d imagine the whole lot will need replacing. Dagflammit!

I might be in a position to take a weekend break in Europe this year. No idea if I’ll be able to afford, but it’s nice to look anyway. :-)
I’m going through my long abandoned DEVONThink and deleting/distributing everything I dumped in there over a couple of years. It’s mostly ideas and research for all the books I plan on writing, but always put off. 💻📝

Up at 6am for the dog walk (again). There’s a mist sitting ominously around the hill, which usually means the day is going to be hot later on. Took a pic, but mist doesn’t photograph well.
One, or both of the dogs got the thundering shitskies in the kitchen last night. It was like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, only not a world of pure imagination but a floor of pure faeces. 🐕💩

Readwise and Reader - Irreplacable?
After cancelling almost every subscription in favour of the Apple ecosystem, I’m struggling to find a workflow to replicate the majesty of Readwise and Reader. I’ve almost, but not quite, got Notes to try and keep things in place, but it’s not the same. I know Notes has its place in my workflow, but it can’t do the things Readwise and Reader can in bringing those long forgotten pieces of text to the forefront and doing it so unintrusively. 💻📝
I think I’m on the cusp of finally streamlining my bits, bobs and email within the Apple ecosystem. Also, the farmer has been spreading slurry. 💻
