My health hasn’t been the best of late, nothing serious but enough to warrant me needing to hit a reset button of sorts. Bad diet, not enough exercise and now a chest infection knocking me on my arse. Had plenty of false dawns, but it’s time to start taking the initiative. 😐🏃🏻

My girl Leela joined our family five years ago today. Despite her bravado, she’s still that scared little girl that hid under the table. 🐕

A small, terrified, terrier hides under a dining room chair. A cute terrier gives an exemplary side-eye for the camera

West Ham v Burnley. Not confident. ⚽️

And Apple autocorrect is adding random words and letters again, terrific. 💻

Just when I dip my toes back into Ulysses for writing, for the first time since I started using it the app is glitching. I’m not losing anything, but it’s certainly making life difficult for me. 💻

Well the performance was there, but same old otherwise. ⚽️

A few hours footy, then a bit of cleaning.

Right then Burnley, a win please. ⚽️

I’m neglecting this place of late through no other reason than I’ve gotten out of the habit. 😐

Oh, Burnley. What a terrible season. ⚽️

My wife has brought me Leffe 0% home, haven’t tried this one before. Given how nice the original is, not to mention the relatively high alcohol content, it’s unsurprising that the alcohol free version doesn’t quite work.

Trying to get back into a regular walking routine with my best-friends. 🐕🏃🏻

A tan and white lurcher and tricolour terrier sit in the back seat of a car. A hairy bespectacled man sits ominously half out of shot.

Having a dig around Scrivener again. No idea why, as I love Ulysses, but I stilll have that nagging doubt in the back of my mind that I’m missing out on Scrivener’s organisational capabilities. 💻📝
